Everywhere you look, ever where you go, you see ecosystems. You yourself are part of one. There all extremely complicated and have many different aspects. It has long been the goal of humans to see if we could establish a naturally sustaining environment. The first of these was when the accent Chinese built fish ponds. How ever they have evolved since then, and in some cases are even have useful purpose for people other then the entertainment value of watching fish swim. Living machines are self sustainable environments with separate stages throughout them. Certain organisms within the LM, such as fish, supplies food and nutrients to the pants and bacteria, in turn the fish eats the pants and the cycle continues. This is what we have established. It is its own completely independent environment for the soul purpose of studying it for the sake of science.
